LOAD: Linux On A Disk (Red Hat)
A 8.4 GB to 27 GB 3.5" hard disk with a full blown Linux and X Windows system pre-configured on one half of the drive. The other half may be used to extend either the Linux or an existing system. Install this drive as a second or third (or the only drive in a pure Linux system) hard disk and install the dual boot utility. Now you are ready to reboot and log into the Linux prompt while maintaining your original Dos/Windows, Windows 95/NT, or OS/2 systems.
Mini-Debian by CLUE
Over the last months, our volunteers have accomplished a lot. We developed a Linux distribution especially designed to run on the used 486s we receive from the Centre for Social Entrepreneurship - and we installed this distribution on over 70 computers. Based on Debian GNU/Linux, this distribution, which we call Mini-Debian, runs X-Windows and comes with a number of software applications.

Common Information ROCK Linux is a modern Linux Distribution with a powerfull auto-build process, mostly designed for skilled Linux/Unix Administrators and available for multiple platforms. ROCK Linux is a small distribution, but it's not a "mini distribution". It comes with over 200 packages including X11 and the GNOME Desktop - but excluding menu driven configuration tools (most professional users prefer configuration files), but a reasonably well configured installation of Rock Linux should be useful for any computer user (even beginners).
